During this time, the contract manufacturer has now grown to 185 employees and manufactures everything from simple sheet metal parts to complex welded assemblies for its customers at two locations close to each other on around 18,000 m\u00b2 with a wealth of experience in sheet metal processing. The basis is laser cutting from the blank. The company owns a total of 11 fiber flatbed systems with outputs ranging from 10 to 30 kW.   <\/p>\n<p>The founder&#8217;s son Maximilian Schr\u00f6der, who has also been a member of the management team for almost three years now, explains: &#8220;In the cutting sector, we cover the entire range of thicknesses that can be cut with lasers. With an average material stock of 5000 tons, we can produce almost anything from stock at short notice in the usual material grades and thicknesses. The thickness range extends up to 60 mm in stainless steel and steel, although we are also able to produce thicker sheets up to 80 mm on a project-by-project basis.&#8221;<\/p>\n<h4>New pipe laser in Thedinghausen<\/h4>\n<p>PS Laser is now expanding its machine park in the field of tube and profile processing. By investing in the Trumpf Trulaser Tube 7000, the company is not only expanding its production capacities, but also opening up new possibilities in terms of precision, efficiency and component complexity. <\/p>\n<p>The Trulaser Tube 7000 Fiber is one of the most powerful tube laser systems on the market, according to the contract manufacturer. Equipped with a 6 kW fiber laser source, it can process various materials economically &#8211; from mild steel and stainless steel to aluminium and less common materials such as copper or brass. <\/p>\n<p>With the new system, which has been in operation for a few months now, blanks from rectangular, square and round tubes as well as a variety of profiles with a diameter of up to 254 mm can now be produced more efficiently. Thin and thick-walled materials as well as high-strength materials are processed reliably and economically. <\/p>\n<p>Another plus point is the integrated bevel cut function, which can be used to implement complex geometries. The now integrated thread unit also allows threads to be inserted directly in an automated process &#8211; without additional processing steps on separate machines. <\/p>\n<p>For PS Laser customers, this means reduced throughput times, fewer interfaces in production and greater process reliability and dimensional accuracy. Components can be delivered almost ready for assembly, without any further steps. This opens up new design freedoms, particularly in mechanical engineering, conveyor technology, steel and plant construction and series production.  <\/p>\n<h4>Fiber laser enables high cutting quality<\/h4>\n<p>Thanks to the ability to process larger wall thicknesses economically, customers benefit from the cutting quality of cutting with the fiber laser. Clean cut edges with little reworking, precise contours and complex cut-outs, high repeat accuracy in series and optimized utilization of the tube material are additional benefits. The combination of performance, precision and automation particularly strengthens projects with high quantities or complex component requirements.  <\/p>\n<p>With this investment, PS Laser is underlining its claim to always be at the cutting edge of technology.
