a specially developed press series for the production of bipolar plates for fuel cells and electrolyzers.<\/h3>\n<p>Aida was founded in 1917 and claims to have been the first company in the world to develop and successfully market servo presses with direct drive (DSF &#8211; Direct Servo Former). Today, several thousand systems are in use worldwide. Aida&#8217;s press technology is used for chassis and structural parts, rotor and stator laminations, bipolar plates, electronic components, connectors and contacts, among other things. With production sites in Asia, Europe and North America and a presence in over 60 countries, Aida has a broad international footprint.   <\/p>\n<h4>Premiere: Presses for bipolar plates<\/h4>\n<p>The BEX presses form high-precision flow channels for hydrogen, oxygen and water. These structures require the tightest tolerances. The backlash-free slide guide adopted from the ULX series prevents lateral movements and ensures high precision when processing the thinnest materials.<br \/>\nThe machine concept is based on a design with a central pressure point. The entire pressing force acts on the center of the table. This minimizes deformation between the ram and table, increases tool life and improves process stability. Large side openings enable the direct integration of feed systems and thus an optimized material flow. The design prevents warping of ultra-thin materials and enables burr-free cutting &#8211; for consistently high quality.      <\/p>\n<p>The automatic tool height adjustment ensures repeat accuracy and long-term stability at bottom dead center (BDC). The technology originates from the MSP series for thin electrical sheets.
