As a result, the solution only uses as much energy as is actually required to cool the laser. This saves a lot of energy, particularly when cutting thin sheet metal or during planned breaks during processing. &#8220;With the energy-efficient cooling unit, Trumpf is further advancing the topic of sustainability in industrial production. Users not only save electricity and therefore CO2, but also energy costs. With a surface area of just one square meter, the cooler fits easily into any production area. Trumpf offers the solution for its laser cutting machines with 24 kW laser power. The high-tech company also plans to launch the cooler for other laser outputs in the future.   <\/p>\n<p>Solution relies on environmentally friendly refrigerant<\/p>\n<p>With the new cooler, Trumpf is helping companies in the sheet metal processing industry to reduce their consumption of refrigerants in line with the Kigali Agreement. The agreement from 2016 regulates the gradual reduction of environmentally harmful refrigerants worldwide. The R513a refrigerant used has a significantly lower global warming potential and therefore meets the stricter requirements of the Kigali Agreement.  <\/p>\n<h4 style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">Background<\/h4>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">Trumpf offers manufacturing solutions in the areas of machine tools and laser technology.
