Nidec SYS is presenting its new “In-line Vision and Weld System” at Euroblech. This compact, stand-alone quality control system is positioned between the punching press and the coil winder. The cell detects faulty contacts during production and joins the carrier strip without interruption and without stopping the press. The welding process is decoupled from the stroke cycle by a loop outside the cell and monitored by a laser distance sensor. This system was awarded the Micron d’Argent 2024 at the Micronora trade fair in Besan\u00e7on.
