explains Thomas Ostermair, Sales Manager at Hans Schr\u00f6der Maschinenbau GmbH.<br \/>\n&#8220;However, automation and flexibility can be opposites, which is why in most cases partial automation, tool changers and rotating clamping beam as well as individual convenience functions are better suited to the requirements. Small batches and individual pieces are the real challenge, especially in the trade and for suppliers.&#8221;<br \/>\nAnother highlight of the trade fair is the PowerBend Professional UD folding machine for sheet metal up to 3 mm thick, which provides maximum flexibility for plumbing companies, for example.<br \/>\nIt is equipped with an up-and-down bending beam, rotating upper beam for two tool stations, radius step bending function and suction plate stop.<br \/>\nThis equipment allows semi-automated production and at the same time quick set-up for individual pieces.      <\/p>\n<h4>Robust scissors for continuous use<\/h4>\n<p>  The PDC-NC, a robust motorized guillotine shear with NC positioning stop, motorized cutting gap adjustment and pneumatically controlled sheet holding-down device, is also part of Schr\u00f6der&#8217;s Euroblech presentation.<br \/>\nThe version shown cuts steel sheets up to 2 mm thick, but is also suitable for other materials &#8211; the pneumatic hold-down device can be deactivated for very soft materials.<br \/>\nPractical: With the series cutting function, up to 99 different or repeating stop dimensions can be preset.<br \/>\nThis means that several stop dimensions can be processed in succession or repetitions can be specified for individual dimensions.     <\/p>\n<h4>Facts &amp; Figures<\/h4>\n<p>  The Schr\u00f6der Group consists of Hans Schr\u00f6der Maschinenbau GmbH, based in Wessobrunn-Forst, Schr\u00f6der-Fasti Technologie GmbH, based in Wermelskirchen, and SMU GmbH, based in Leinburg-Wei\u00dfenbrunn.
