Users now have even better control over the deburring process for laser parts, as a large glass front now provides an insight into the machining process. Additional functions ensure even more productivity.<\/p>\n<p>This is already 50 percent higher thanks to the double-sided processing compared to single-sided machines. The Arku engineers also had simple maintenance and cleaning in mind during the design phase. In addition, the new generation of the deburring machine is even more energy-efficient without losing any of its high productivity.<br \/>\nAnother highlight: the machine is ready for the Arku Wizard. With this deburring line, fully automatic complete processing of flame-cut or plasma parts is possible.<br \/>\nThe EdgeBreaker 9000 Line removes slag, deburrs and rounds the edges in a single pass. The parts only have to be loaded into the machine once; turning is no longer necessary due to the double-sided processing. This relieves the operator enormously. In addition, throughput times are reduced by over 50 percent by linking all three work steps in one line.<\/p>\n<h4>AI-supported machine setting for better machining results<\/h4>\n<p>How machine operators achieve magical powers can now be seen on almost all Arku straightening and deburring machines. At the InfoDays Straightening + Deburring 2024, the systems were equipped with the Wizard software. This is an intelligent control system that adjusts the machine to achieve the best results. Users no longer have to try out which setting is correct when straightening or deburring sheet metal.<br \/>\nThe operator only enters the already known workpiece data into the control system (for example, material, size of burrs, material thickness, desired edge rounding). The software then automatically selects the best machine settings for the respective machining task. The straightening or deburring machine then adjusts itself automatically. Arku presented its robot systems for parts handling on the straightening machines for greater efficiency in sheet metal processing. Because if there is a shortage of skilled workers, robots can take over tasks with a lot of repetition. The vision robots work autonomously and do not require any programming.<\/p>\n<h4>Coil laser systems increase material efficiency<\/h4>\n<p>Arku also has something to offer in terms of material efficiency. With three examples of systems, Arku demonstrated how laser companies can produce their own sheet metal blanks. One of these is the coil laser system developed together with Trumpf. It enables sheet metal processors to flexibly produce even medium batch sizes from coil.
