Pilz supports this change with a comprehensive portfolio for the areas of safety, security and automation. Safe connectivity via the Pilz system solution including master for IO-Link Safety is a trade fair highlight.<\/h3>\n<p>At the Hannover Messe, visitors can find out about two &#8220;all-in-one&#8221; packages from Pilz for drive applications. The integrated and therefore flexible solutions also focus on cost-effectiveness: There are two differently sized packages to choose from: for machines with a medium range of functions and for machines with a more complex range of functions. Users only have to calculate what they need, thus saving investment costs. At the heart of each is the configurable small controller PNOZmulti 2 with FSoE connection. The expert for safe automation will be demonstrating practical application scenarios at the trade fair stand: the control of a conveyor belt as an example for the medium application and the control of a gripper arm with multiple, synchronous axes for the more complex application.<\/p>\n<h4>Supporting transformation through secure communication<\/h4>\n<p>Safe communication in the field is a prerequisite for a successful transformation: Pilz demonstrates how its complete IO-Link safety system comprising master, field devices and accessories can be used to implement safe data communication for all sensors in the field, ensuring greater availability and more flexible automation on top. In Hanover, visitors will experience the advantages of this complete solution on an interlinked automation system with integrated robotics. Safe data transmission via the open Ethercat communication system in combination with the safe Safety over Ethercat FSoE protocol is also a topic. FSoE-capable solutions &#8211; e.g. with the small safety controller PNOZmulti 2 &#8211; make it easy to implement safe data transmission. The focus: the flexible connection of safety-relevant system structures.<\/p>\n<h4>Security as the guardian of transformation<\/h4>\n<p>Industrial security will become mandatory by 2027 at the latest with the new Machinery Ordinance. In the networked world of automation, safety and security form a single unit &#8211; the process of change has already begun. Pilz supports this process with suitable products and services such as the I.A.M., which combines safety (operating mode selection) and security (access authorization). A new addition to the trade fair package: the PIT oe ETH control element for security applications with an Ethernet port that can be activated. As an industrial Ethernet interface, the new operating button can be switched on and off electrically. This means that only authorized personnel can temporarily activate interfaces, for example for new configurations.<\/p>\n<h4>Knowing protection requirements, ensuring security<\/h4>\n<p>Users need to know how much security they need. Pilz is therefore presenting its new security service ISCS as a further highlight: It includes a complete industrial security service including the steps &#8220;Protection requirements analysis&#8221;, &#8220;Industrial security risk assessment&#8221;, &#8220;Industrial security concept&#8221;, &#8220;Industrial security system integration&#8221; and &#8220;Industrial security system verification&#8221; &#8211; and determines the individual security requirements. The security service supports users and enables them to efficiently implement all-round manipulation protection against internal and external attacks. The Pilz experts will also be providing information about the T\u00dcV Nord-certified qualification for industrial security &#8220;CESA &#8211; Certified Expert for Security in Automation&#8221;.<\/p>\n<h4 style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">Holistic automation for a &#8220;green&#8221; Norway<\/h4>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">This year&#8217;s partner country of the Hannover Messe is Norway. The country covers almost half of its total final energy consumption with electricity from hydropower, and the expansion of this electrification and thus also the decarbonization of industry is to be accelerated.
