The focus is on decarbonizing steelmaking at the integrated steel mills that SAIL operates across India.<\/p>\n<p>The aim of this partnership is to jointly meet the challenges arising from the necessary reduction in CO2 emissions and to make the steel industry as a whole more environmentally compatible. In this context, the SMS Group will contribute its technological know-how in the field of design, engineering and supply of equipment as well as provide technical support for erection and commissioning projects in the Indian steel mills operated by SAIL.<\/p>\n<p>The signing ceremony took place on August 3, 2023 at the SAIL Management Training Institute (MTI) in Ranchi in the state of Jharkhand and marks a significant milestone in the cooperation between SMS group and SAIL.
